Photography / Dog photo's

Dog's are mostly what I shoot anymore, love it! Here's a new photo of my Stormy, a Britt pup I did about a week ago and one of Stormy printed on slate.

Same point as above but different angle.

Photo of Stormy I had done on a piece of slate. I didn't know you could do that until recently. Got two more ordered, my E setter's, waiting on slate.

Dog's are about all I shoot anymore. Recently I got out my old D70 and put a much older Sigma 70-300 lens on it then went out trying to shoot in "M". I normally shoot in "A".

Stormy. He just turned one year here.

My nephew got this over in Africa in July. He and his wife spent two weeks there on a photo safari and did one last year for three weeks. Got some amazing animal photo's. This is a few of his cats. He got a ton of them.

He does an absolutely wonderful job with his Africa photo's.

A friend that's a Wildlife Biologist identified these as juvenile Great Horned Owls. Lady on the other end of town called yesterday morning that they were in a tree at her place.

I got one I'll try in this. Call back at a field trial the 19th of April.

I made a frame for it.

Not surprising. But there is a flaw in how they did it. a man has the chest sitting on two rather long legs. The concrete bag was sitting on the ground. The bag raised up maybe 4 feet and attached to legs might tip over a lot easier. The 223 passing through is no surprise either, bullet is to fast and was an FMJ.

I did that one time with a chukar. Had a couple guy's over and was working their dog's for them. One of the dog's pushed the bird while I was coming in and the bird came right at me. Stuck out my right hand and the bird flew right into it. Guy that owned the dog was really really impressed. I saw no reason to disillusion him!

WOW! Problem for me is, it would cost so much I would never take it outside! Beautiful job though. There a price tag on it?

Unacceptable! Entirely to neat. Mine sort of has the rustic look, sort of ruggedly good looking!

I did the same thing when it first came out, friend got one. He shot a lot of cast bullet's and I shot a bunch out of it, easy! Then we were getting ready to go bear hunting and he showed up at the range with some loaded with 250gr jacketed bullet's. Shot really well! He told me to shoot it and see what I thought. D*mn near tore my shoulder off! Only jacketed bullet I have ever fired from a 350, first and last!
