Maybe someone here can guess a score until I get a chance to measure it.  Here are approximte measurements.  I know the tip to tip has dried to 38.5" because it was sitting over a fireplace for 20 years.  I don't know how to measure the eye guards or the mass.  I guess the spread is too wide so you take the beam length as well.  It will be complicated to score but I'll get all the measurements and let you guys figure it out.

For me I don't care about score anyways.  Show me a picture of a bigger 3 pointer...  I've never seen one bigger.  Do they keep a record book for big 3 pointers?

A lot of you know Lulu the moose...

Palm lengths -30" & 29"
Palm Widths - 9" & 9"
outside spread - 44.5"
beam mass -7" & 7"
points - 7 & 8 pts

I gross scored him approximately 150 and net around 147 or so.  B&C minimum is 140" if I recall...

I attended a Mule Deer Foundation banquet in Olympia about 17-18 years ago and the was a 40" 3x3 point muley mount on display. I wish I had some info on it. There were probably 25 bucks on display, all huge and thats the only one I remember.

Ok here is a rookie attemt at scoring that buck. Mass measurements I guessed. Was not sure about the main beam length either. 160 is pretty darn good for a 3 point. Like you said Pope score mean very little to me either. I have never entered any of my elk into the books. I have not killed a deer big enough to worry about so

Add in 2 more mass measurements off that g-2, probably about 3 2/8 each. They still get all 4 mass measurements even if they are only a fork.

Well then that would bump it up close to 180 gross. Not to shabby if you ask me.

What I find interesting is if that thing had a 4th point, it would be a 200" buck right?  Maybe more?  I guess that makes sense if the back forks are 12" or so?  Wierd.  My amateur attempt to score it years ago came up with high 170's but I don't think I counted all the mass measurements because I didn't know where to score it.  I probably also scored the spread instead of the beam length...

Well the sportsman show would have been your easiest way but you can google official scorers in your area and they will do it and enter it for you ... try bow4elk and we could at least steer you in the right direction if he can't do it.
