New Gear for 2011
« on: May 21, 2011, 11:37:55 AM »
What are your planned gear purchases for the 2011 season?  There is a bunch of cool new stuff out there, but with a little one on the way in July, I will just have to stare longingly at the computer screen  :laugh: :laugh:

Here are my purchases:

1) Sitka Gear (gonna try some new 2011 items)
-Timberline pants
-Contrail windshirt
-Hooded traverse zip t
-A few other misc items
2) Kennetrek Mountain Exteme
3) Fitting the Kimber Montana with a #4 1/2 Kreiger barrel (7wsm) with a 3.5-15 NF (see if this thing is possible of sending a straight bullet down-range!)  :angry:

What I wish I could purchase:

10x50 Swarovsion
KUIU 3000/6000 CU IN Pack
Custom 7 ultra for launching 180 bergers at high speeds

What's in your shopping cart?

He works for coors light, never complains, and has tremendous eyes - even when bloodshot.   :laugh: :laugh:

You will like the Kenetrek boots---I love mine  :tup:  I just opened a box with 2 Russell outdoors Tundra tops and a few weeks ago got a Sitka Incinerator jacket for those real cold mornings in Montana  :shocked:

Sounds like a tough deal there, JJ.   Sorry you had to "cut back" on your purchases.

Nice.  I've never messed around with the Russell gear but it seems to be popular.   Did you get used to those glasses, yet?

It's nice in toasty in that big diesel pick-up - what do you need that heavy jacket for?   :kiss:

 If you're keeping him you should pick up a pair of the Kenetrek's for him too, I can't beleive he was walking around the prickly pears with those tenny runners. :shocked:

I picked up;

Leupold Sequoia spotting scope (for viewing those antelope in my back yard)
Car adapter and tripod
Husky floor liners for the truck
A come along so I can pack an elk out solo
a Remington 597 in .22 so i don't have to shoot expensive bullets at prairie dogs
More ammo

I would like;

a 7mm in wsm or win mag
Another handgun =-)
some Sitka gear (I say this every year)
Rob to come and show me places to shoot things =-)
more ammo...

Should be the top of every hunters wish list if you don't have one.
