What's currently the Best $400.00 Spotter?

A friend is looking at purchasing a new Spotter. His budget is around $400.00.(Er I mean his wife's budget for him is around $400.00 :laugh:) He wants a 60mm objective with a strait body. He hunt's mostly open country. What's the best Spotter in that price range?

Thanks I sent him the Link. He asked me about Vortex Nomad and I told him I don't know. I told him I have heard Nikon has good quality stuff at that price point but have no personal experience with either?

What is the next in line in your opinion going up in price from here?  or next couple?  This topic has come up before, and it seems that there is a huge gap between entry level spotter the big 3.  as if there was no mid range quality scopes at all.  I sold my Windriver spotter recently.  Zen Ray came out with an ED line spotter, but I have not had the opportunity to demo it yet.

By the way the Zen Ray ED2 spotting scope only comes in angled 20-60 at a price tage of $999.
