i was just doing this but decided to buy a spotting scope instead of a new/used bow. there are some great deals out there on some pretty recent bowtechs (that's what i shoot) i found a guy selling last years insanity, advertised shot 50 times or less for 600 bucks. i talked to him and he said he'd split shipping with me. from what Ive heard the insanity edges out the invasion. but really right now the best bang for your buck would be a 2011 Destroyer 350. they fixed all the glitches in the first runs, there smoking fast, quite and you can find them in like new condition for 500 all day long. and often times that's a shipped price. i still may go that route if some funds clear up before summer.

Have you shot a bunch of different bows and that is the one that feels the best?

How has bow techs customer service been, they were far from stellar a few years ago. Hopefully you will be dealing with a good pro shop that can get warranty issues taken care of for you.

As far as accessories for your bow. Sights I would go with black gold, armourtech excel or a spot Hogg, all the sights are well made and durable.

For a quiver I would go with tight spot quiver, I haven't seen a better quiver than this one. It has great adjustability and great balance on the bow. Easy to remove too.

Rest I like a full containment drop away like a trophy taker pro or vapor trail pro v, both are limb activated and have no timing issues, easy to fix in the field if there is a problem.

Broad heads, slick trick are great low profile heads that fly true. Lots of good broad heads out there on the market though like Magnus, shuttle t and g5.

Easton axis arrows are straight, durable and affordable. If you want a heavier arrow look at the easton full metal jacket, they will help quiet your bow down as well.

Opti logic micro makes a nice little affordable range finder, small and compact, red LED display and has angle compensation. Only downside is that it won't range in the fog but neither will my other range finder, a bushnell arc 1000.

Good luck with your decisions, let us know what you end up with.
